Happy Valentine’s Day to all! Even if you have no one to share this day with, I pray that you find your identity and worth in Jesus. He is always there and loves you more than any human can.

9 “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love.10 If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. 11 I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. 12 My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. 14 You are my friends if you do what I command. 15 I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. I received chocolates, a rose and a card. Yes, I did enjoy some of the chocolates, even though I didn’t feel my best today. I stayed home from church because my allergies are cutting up and I was achy and felt like I had knives in my throat. I put some peppermint oil in my water and that really helped to ease the pain.
So I just took it easy today. I went outside to watch my kids be kids while I read a book. I love moments like that. So peaceful. Now I’m about to finally spend some time with my hubs. He’s been busy doing work for the Lord, helping those in need. Love that man!
Today, I ate berry crisp for breakfast, homemade vegetable soup from my mom for lunch, then BBQ chicken with strawberries. Finishing the night with a glass of wine. I did try to roast some brussels sprouts. First time eating them. I will try them tomorrow when I’m feeling better. I shall let you know how they are. Enjoy your night!
